Our Coalition

Nicotine Free Communities, formally known as Smoke Free Indy, is a local coalition with a mission to address tobacco-related health disparities throughout Marion County by reducing commercial tobacco use, creating strategic partnerships, and advocating for smoke-free policies for all. We work toward this mission in our community by attending health fairs, promoting cessation services such as Quit Now Indiana, conducting presentations, and working with schools, multi-unit housing complexes, businesses, and health care facilities in order to pass and maintain comprehensive smoke-free policies.

Nicotine Free Communities has many community partners - 2 of whom receive grant funding from the Indiana Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Cessation division (TPC) in order to do our work and enact our mission throughout our community.
